Booking a photographer for your wedding comes with many "what ifs" and questions! Sometimes things really don’t need to be that complicated. My process ensures that all my clients get a similar experience, yet tailored to their specific needs!
WHAT TO EXPECT
WEDDING + TRAVEL
1. Understanding Pricing & Travel Fees
My prices are built to cover the costs of maintaining business, editing time, shooting time, and equipment. When traveling, it really depends on how much coverage you need, how long it will take to travel to the location and from, and whether it requires a flight or hotel stay. Prices and travel fees are included in the wedding pricing guide.
2. Contract, Booking & The Questionnaire
Each wedding client is required to pay a non-refundable retainer of 30% and to sign a client agreement. The non-refundable retainer protects my time, as well as, cuts the cost of the wedding booking into two! More details on the non-refundable retainer are included in the client agreement.
Wedding clients are asked to fill out a questionnaire so that I can get a general idea on the details and to gather the right questions to ask. This questionnaire includes names of those within the wedding party, family and friends you want photos with, and more.
3. Let’s Chat!
A video call is a great way for me to get to know you better and gather all of the details! The less we are strangers the better.
4. The List
It would be helpful for us to compile a list of family/friends you would like to have photos taken with. It will allow things to move smoothly without the stress of remembering who has and hasn’t had photos taken. This list would only include family/friends that will be included in the wedding, such as bridesmaids, groomsmen, officiant, parents, grandparents, kids, etc.
5. Final Payment
The remaining balance of 70% is due 30 days before the date of your wedding. Copies of all documentation of payments will be included in the final email and will also be included in the USB!
6. Previews, Gallery Delivery & Print Release
Within two weeks of your wedding, you'll receive previews! This is a handful of
images that allow you to share SOME of the special moments with friends and family.
You can download and look through images from your big day in a personalized online
gallery created just for you! To perfect your photos, it may take up to 60 days for
your gallery to be delivered. A print release is also included, so you can take your
images anywhere and print them!
