Frequently Asked Questions

Do you have a contract?

Yes! In order to book, clients are required to sign a contract.

Why do you charge travel fees?

Travel fees cover the costs of hotel stays, flights, gas, and rentals. The fees are not built in, since they vary according to your location, the time of travel, and the type of coverage you need.

Do you travel for weddings?

Yes! I service the United States. Travel fees are listed in my wedding pricing guide!

What do I wear?

Dress in a way that makes you feel like yourself! Each person involved in the shoot should wear colors/outfits that complement one another. Try to stay away from anything too busy as it can be unnecessarily distracting in photos. I would personally suggest neutral or pastel colors.

In a 1-hour session, how many images are delivered?

An hour-long session will result in a minimum of 30 images! When editing, I follow the rule of "quality over quantity" to make sure you get the best images!

Why can’t I make changes to the photos I paid for?

Whenever you book a session with MTP, you are paying for the right to use the images. In accordance with the copyright law, any photos I provide are my property and protected from any manipulation (including editing) without my permission.

How would you describe your photography/editing style?

By editing in a warm, moodier tone, I am able to bring the depth and detail into my shots!

Why do I have to pay a non-refundable retainer? And what is it?

Non-refundable retainers not only protect my time, but also let me know you are serious about booking! Most sessions are booked in advance and it means that time frame and date are 100% yours. While the term "non-refundable" sounds scary, if weather or illness permits, I'd be happy to reschedule!

Can you send me the RAW/unedited images?

Imagine having a cake decorator just give you the cake without any frosting! However, I do not provide customers with unedited photos. You pay for my finished work when you purchase my service!

Do you backup our images? What if they get lost?

Yes, images are backed up 3 times to ensure they are not lost!
